Have you ever caught yourself saying “He pure loves himself!” … and we say that like it’s a bad thing. How ridiculous is that?

It’s maybe a UK thing, who knows. It’s definitely a Scottish thing because I’ve said it myself in the past about people out of utter ignorance.

It’s just crazy that if someone actually has confidence or a high level of self-belief or even self-worth our society sees that as a bad thing.

God forbid you actually like yourself or believe in yourself, I mean how dare you! Just ridiculous!

So I say, “If you want to love yourself, you just go right ahead pal. Treat Yourself as good as you treat others in your life! … and don’t you dare apologise for it.”
