When you’re not feeling particularly confident it’s very easy to think everybody is talking negatively about you but I’m pretty sure there’s somebody out there batting for you even in the hardest times.

You’d probably be surprised by who it is that sticks up for you when others are sticking the knife in. There’s a good chance you’ll never know but it’s always worth making the most positive assumption rather than expecting the worst.
