Enough talk people, time for action!!

Enough talk people, it’s time for action. I’ve been coaching for 3 years now and in that time I’ve heard more than enough from people that “want” to change or “need” to change but they refuse to take the big action required to make these changes permanent.

They usually start off with great intentions but sooner rather than later (and I’m talking days not weeks) they surrender themselves to self sabotage or laziness or weak will power and return to the life of misery that they have been regularly complaining about!

Actions_vs_Words

I don’t quite get it myself, why wouldn’t you stick to helping yourself for long enough to make these good feelings a habit (30 days would do)… but some underlying insecurities, self-worth challenges or anxiety seems to have more power than the initial drive for change.

What I’m saying is you have to overrule the negative voice in your head that says you don’t have time, or that you’re too tired to try.

You have to overrule that notion to “do it tomorrow” or sit on the couch for another 10 minutes rather than getting up and doing what needs done.

You have take 5 seconds of HUGE effort and bravery to get up and get started.

There will always be an excuse, a “reason”, not to do something … you need to be smarter than that and do it anyway!

Build that momentum by taking big action every day for 30 days until you feel that you’ve really overcome that negative voice in your head.

We can’t do it for you people, I wish we could … you need to take some responsibility for your own life here!

Do us all a favour and ditch the pity party, find that fire in your belly that will help you overrule the negativity and finally break those bad habits once and for all.

TAKE ACTION.

Keep fighting my friends!
