As someone newly started again on a fitness fight I can assure you the first few work outs / jogs / classes are by the far the worst, you just need to dig deep and push yourself to do it. After that things get easier.
If you’re struggling to get started have a think about why you’re doing it. Is it to look more acceptable to yourself on holiday? Is it to get healthier after a health scare? Is it to lose a few pounds to be able to have the energy to do more things?
Whatever it is, keep that in mind whenever you think of falling back into bad habits and drag yourself out your comfort zone. Drag yourself through the motions the first few times just to get you started.
Once you’ve started every time after that will get a little easier and more rewarding, even if it’s just a tiny bit at a time.
Push yourself to start and just keep pushing on every time the doubt sets in. You got this my friend, you got this!
